Our office’s economic analysis department deals with this field and provides business and accounting advice. For decades, we have been accompanying merger and acquisition transactions both from the buyers’ and sellers’ sides to the office’s clients and/or companies turning to us for this specific service. The assistance these companies’ managers need is not only in the valuation of the activity and/or providing various value indications. But in a real and holistic, tactical and strategic accompaniment of the purchase or sale process of the business.
In this context, a series of actions are performed, including a comprehensive valuation of the company, conducting an accounting due diligence for the acquired company or alternatively accompanying the inspection conducted by the purchasing side, strategic planning of the sales process, correct selection of the other side including examination of the synergy that will grow from this process, examination of the business model including examination of the options given or received if the transaction is not complete, advice regarding the structure of the transaction including contingent consideration and/or future milestones, examination of tax issues arising from this process and accompanying the legal and business negotiations and accounting issues arising from it until the agreement is signed and even afterwards in the implementation process.
